Behavioral Medicine and Health Resilience Minor
The Behavioral Medicine and Health Resilience minor provides students with an interdisciplinary understanding of how biological, psychological, behavioral, and social factors influence health, disease, and resilience across the lifespan. Housed in the Department of Psychological Sciences and supported by the Institute of Health Resilience and Innovation (IHRI). Students will develop the knowledge and practical skills to address complex health challenges and prepare for careers in healthcare, public health, research, and other health-related fields.
Course Requirements
- A minimum of 8 courses (24-28 credit hours, depending on course selection) to satisfy minor requirements.
- A minimum of 4 courses (12 credit hours) taken at the 300-level or above.
- A maximum of 2 courses (6 credit hours) from study abroad or transfer credit.
